As you say in your mini-profile Shannon:

"I write. I write a lot, generally its not very good, sometimes it is truly awful, but occasionally there are a few gems"

And I have no doubt that the impulsive desire to 'put-pen-to-paper' (as this poem illustrates, is from where the gems emerge!
