Christian,
First, I just wanted to say 'thank you' for choosing to follow me. I have reciprocated.
This story on Medium 'hits the mark'. I too consider myself as an observer of human interactions etc, and much of what you write about here is so very true.
Personally, I am a little different when it comes to the hunting factor for men. I tend to be happier 'alone' in these sort of situations. perhaps I see myself as some sort of Super Hero ready to 'save the world'.
I do however relate to your billiards example in that every week (just once a week when I tear myself away from my singular-savior existence!) I join two other men to play snooker. I note the male camaraderie there, though to be honest, I go out to win every time and I watch my opponents' every move. Hey, this is becoming quite a self-analysis session. Stop!
I hope that we can both continue to write about things that interest; inspire; and bring a touch of happiness into the lives of others.
Maybe we can share each others stories with friends and colleagues. It's nice to share nice things isn't it?
May your day be 'just right' for you, and I hope that you will continue to write inspirational stories.
All the best to you and yours,
Fred
