Crystal, if anything proves that you are indeed 'persistent', this second effort does it!

Now for the 'friend-link' explanation:

In any draft, or in a published story that is put into edit mode, you will see a three-dot symbol (top-right).

Clicking on this reveals a drop-down list, one of which is 'Settings'.

If you click on 'Settings' you will then be able to scroll down to the 'Promotion' section which has the friend link there, plus an invitation to copy it.

Once copied, you can use it as I suggested - pasted onto a new line of any other article and then made into a block link by a simple 'click'.
