The idea of a series of Dad Joke Collections came to me after I’d received
a Birthday card some time ago, from my daughter.
It had a picture of a smiling dad in his work-shop, showing him leaning on his work-table ... his hands looked as if they were stuck to the bench-top!
The card’s underlying caption said:
“The cheery smile was wearing thin ... When would dad admit that he’d super-glued his hands to the table?”
That birthday card features in ALL of my collection sets, including the first intro article, below (An intro to ‘Dad Jokes’ & More’).
So you and I will never forget that original inspiration.
I dedicate my Dad Joke Collections to all dad’s … everywhere.
