Secondly ... and you are the first to know this:

My daughter unexpectedly read the story at her English home and sent an email telling me that she did remember the blanket, and that when she comes to Australia in January, to celebrate my belated 80th, she will take the blanket back to the UK and give it to her first grandchild (born earlier this year) - and he's MY first great grandchild!

She said: "The blanket will be the perfect size to wrap around Eddie." (Yes, another Eddie!) - the first one being in my study here - you've probably seen him.

Anyway, Patricia, you are first to know the above and you can already see that your idea for Part 2 in January is taking shape.
