This golden map, first mentioned in an introductory article that I titled: “Found! Golden Version of World Map” was the stimulus for regular reminiscences … a re-presentation of some of my true world stories.
Today’s Gold Map Story (published Late Dec. 2023), is about ‘ENGLAND’.
On The Golden World Map it looks very small, but I have a few interesting reminiscences from that the country.
Today’s true story is special because:
England is the country of my birth, where I grew up, was educated, and lived, for nearly 40 years before embarking on my world journeys that have taken me to so many countries since then.
What can I tell you about England that is special? Well, lots of things I guess, but for this story today I want to tell you about a particular English passion … a passion that centres on an a sporting activity and shows itself in a most unexpected way.
The passion? Simply the ‘Dedicated Following of One Special Football Team’.
