Today’s Gold Map Story (published in August 2023), remembers ‘SPAIN’
Today’s true story is special because:
Though I’ve only visited Spain once … and only for a brief overnight stop-over in Madrid whilst on my way to England ... this short visit introduced me to an ancient Spanish tradition that still persists in some of Madrid’s suburbs. Its what I now refer to as “The Magic Lantern”. It ought to have been an unforgettable experience, but I never actually experienced it!
Let me explain:
‘The Magic Lantern that worked’ … but not for me!:
I first published an account of this episode from my world adventures some two years ago, in an article titled: ‘Me and a Magic Lantern … It Worked ! ’.
Except … it didn’t actually work — for me!
