You have given a lot of thought to clapping, commenting, and reading regarding Medium articles, and you have tries each strategy ... that's good to know.

I agree with Jim Webster's comment to you about one clap being all that's needed.

More important is the need to READ an article so that when you clap and comment, that writer might benefit a little financially.

In this respect, I have read this article of yours; checked out your home page; and decided to follow you.
