Only yesterday (and before seeing this article of yours, I came across an interesting 'naming' story - from real life:

Former US Défense Secretary, Robert S McNamara, had a middle name of 'Strange'.

After asking his would-be-wife to marry him, shge later phoned him to ask: "What is your middle name?", to which he answered: "It's Strange", and her immediate response was to say: "It may be strange, but please do tell me what it is"
