I saw this article in a 'Medium Tech Collection’ that landed in my inbox yesterday. I enjoyed the read and have decided to follow you.

Whilst I enjoyed your Schopenhauer article very much, and welcome the wisdom advice contained within it, I'm left wondering if you yourself follow your own advice, because your 7th paragraph (in summary) says:

"I am guilty of falling for Schopenhauer’s Folly ... constantly checking digital vital signs ... checked my email (3 times) ... opened my Facebook page (Pauline’s birthday) ... placed a bid on eBay ... ordered a lot of coffee ... etc",
