I saw this article of yours in a recent Medium Weekly Digests sent to my inbox.

I read it with special interest because I am a christian (well, more accurately 'a follower of Jesus') and one who no-longer has any hang-ups about the sort of disturbing topics that you listed as your previous 'christian beliefs'. Like you, I reject them as ridiculous or just plain stupid.

Never-the-less I haven't given up on religion and I do write on that topic, but with honesty and most importantly, with a view to make people think.
