Hello Patrick … this is Fred … first time call.

Thank you for recently choosing to follow me. I have clicked your follow button too.

This story is my first read of ‘yours’, and it caught my attention for two reasons:

1. Since 1963 (the date of this insurrection in Swaziland) there have been many many independence movements (and acceptance by Britain) giving independence to Swaziland and others, making this story of yours a useful historic document.

2. I myself visit southern Africa on behalf of the British Council in 1970 - being science-education adviser to Lesotho (former Basutoland) and I was invited to the inauguration of King Moshoeshoe as chancellor of the University of Botswana; Lesotho, and Swaziland .

I've written quite a bit about my Lesotho experience, including this one:

I rescued the Royal Throne which is a sort-of fun story, but true!

I wish you well with your own writing Patrick.

May your day be just right for you … all the best to you and yours,

Fred

👍😊❤
