Your two stories I found on Medium indicate to me that you really know about your topics. It shows!

They are a bit long though (for 'short' stories - which is the descriptor you give ti your story-writing in your 'About' section.

maybe you'll get more reads if say you limit your stories to less than eight or nine minute reads?

I don't know - I'm no expert - but that would seem to be a better way to 'story-promote' What do you think?
