Whilst I don't agree 'fully' with your frustration about not getting much help (because I have found quite a bit over the months of Medium research), I must say that your main advice, on "Interacting"; "Proofreading"; "Self-promotion"; and above all ... "Write!" is wonderfully spot-on.
