This is a good analysis of happiness-maintenance, but before commenting further on your Medium articles, here'[s another comment from me:

"I noticed that you clapped on some of my Medium stuff recently, but you didn't leave a comment, and ... you didn't click on my follow button!"

However, I've checked out your writing, and I think that it deserves more-then-just-a-clap, and so, I've have decided to follow you.
