Though I'm not into real film, I do understand, and appreciate, what you are saying in this article of yours.
One of my neighbours is into camera shooting, and only yesterday told me a lovely story about an owl he once knew and took photos of. He sent me a couple of his pictures of 'Olly' and they are excellent (as you might expect!), and I've come up with an idea to use him and his bird photography in one of my future Medium stories. So, look out for this one ... sometime soon (before too long).
