What a thorough and thoughtful article. I enjoyed reading this and I particularly like your quote: "A good cause needs to speak to the beliefs of individuals; an honorable cause speaks to the norms and perhaps virtues of people and a valid cause speak to the ethical values of humans".

You use footnotes [x] very nicely - something I'd like to emulate when next I publish a 'thinking' type article. Thank you for the encouragement.
