I wasn't comfortable reading your story, but clearly, you were not comfortable writing it either because (as other responses have mentioned: 'You never really told the whole story'.

Anyway, I guess you learned a lesson that night ... many others might not have done so and suffered the eventual consequences much miore than you have.
