As for becoming 'actually famous' ... who knows when? ... it could happen anytime. I'm probably too old to get that achievement, but ... you never know until you know!

To answer your more important question: "How did I get started on Medium?", Truth is, I studied the writings of many other Medium authors before launching my first article/story, making notes and setting up files and folders with titles such as "Tips & Tricks"; "Notes & Ideas", and it took me some 5 months before I had the confidence to start writing. (I'd never done it before and I was almost 80 years old!).

I have since written and published more than 150 stories and articles, and set up indices and drafts with basic formats at the ready.
